Membership Fee & Eligibility
Membership ::
Every person who has knowledge or experience in the field of allied healthcare will be the members of IAHA.
Membership Fee: Rs. 500/- For One Year.
Life Membership
Life Membership will be granted who has a degree/diploma in Allied Healthcare from any recognised university/institute/school/centre.
Life Membership Fee: Rs. 4000/- For 10 years from membership date.
Institutional Membership
(Nonvoting) of hospital, professional bodies, and establishments in the field of hospital administration (can sponsor three candidates for meetings and seminars organised by (IAHA).
Institutional Membership Fee: Rs. 6000/- For 10 years.
Associate Membership
A person who has one or two year experience in the field of Allied Healthcare/Paramedical can take membership from IAHA.
Associate Membership Fee: Rs. 1500/- For One Year.
Students Membership
Student who is a currently/regular students of Allied Healthcare can take membership from IAHA.
Students Membership Fee: Rs. 100/-For One Year. .
Members will be entitled to use following titles according to their respective class of membership:-
a) Member – MIAHA
b) Life Member – LMIAHA
c) Associate Member - AMIAHA
d) Institutional Member – IMIAHA
e) Student Member – SMIAHA
Note:-
1) Every member will be given a membership certificate.
2) Life members will have the right to be elected and to re-presented on the executive committee of the Academy on the basis of an election by the member held during the Annual body meetings.
3) Life members will have right to vote.
4) Every member can take life membership for 10 years.
IAHA Membership Benefits
1) IAHA has an Independent Ethics Committee for promoting research amongst its members.
2) IAHA is a professional and social platform for allied healthcare, updating their knowledge and helping new friendships & fellowship.
3) IAHA supports all members during professional crises. IAHA has been able to pursue most state governments in enacting the Paramedical Service Persons and Paramedical Service Institutions (Prevention of Violence and Damage of Property) Act which provides protection to allied health workers and their paramedical establishments.
4) IAHA runs its own National professional protection scheme to protect the members and help them in case of harassment, litigation etc. which may arise during the process of their professional practice and also to provide legal aid to the members of the Scheme.
5) IAHA provides an opportunity to members to serve with dignity and participate in various community service programs.
6) As per IAHA ethics regulations you need to be a member of an association. For the advancement of his profession, a Paramedical should affiliate with associations and societies of allied health professions and involve actively in the functioning of such bodies. IAHA is the best association to join.
